1. What is Expressinvest Mutual Fund account?
Expressinvest Mutual Fund account is a completely online and a paperless Mutual Fund (MF) Investment Account. It provides convenience of managing your Mutual Fund investments from the comfort of your home or office.
2. What are benefits / features of Expressinvest Mutual Fund account?

3. Who all are eligible for opening Expressinvest Mutual Fund account?
A Resident Indian (individual) whose KYC status is “KRA verified (mandatory) and who do not have Axis Direct 3-in-1 account is eligible to open Expressinvest account.
4. Where all I can invest with this account?
You can only invest in Mutual Fund through Expressinvest Mutual Fund account.
5. Is KRA registration mandatory for opening this account?
Yes, KRA registration & verification is mandatory.
6. How I can complete my KRA verification?
You need to submit the KRA application form along with the necessary documents to KRA agency (any one from CVL, NDML, Karvy, CAMS, DOTEX) directly or through any one of the registered POS.
7. I have already submitted my KRA application form, but still I am not able to open this account?
You can open this account only if the status of your KRA application form is "Verified" at KRA end.
8. How I can open the Expressinvest account?
If you are a resident Indian and your KRA status is 'Verified' then by following the below steps you can open your Expressinvest Mutual Fund account:
i) Step 1 - Enter your PAN and Date of Birth
ii) Step 2 - Verify your details shown on the screen
iii) Step 3 - Create your user ID and password
iv) Step 4 - Complete your brief profile
v) Step 5 - Link your Bank Account
vi) Step 6- Start investing!
9. Do I need to submit any document for opening the account?
If your status is KRA verified then you need not submit any documents in hard copy format.
10. I fall in the category of NRI/HUF/Minor and my KRA status is verified but still I am not able to open this account?
This facility is currently not available for NRI, HUF and Minor.
11. The mobile no and Email ID shown in my profile page is/are old. How I can change/update my mobile no or email ID?
For any change in KYC records you need to submit the modification request with the KRA agency.
12. I don't have Axis Bank account. Can I open Expressinvest account details?
Currently, this facility is available only for existing Axis Bank account customers.
13. Can I reset my password online?
Yes.
14. Can I add nomination facility for Expressinvest account?
No. Currently, nomination facility is not available in Expressinvest account.
15. Can I add joint holder for Expressinvest account?
No. Currently, joint holder facility is not available in Expressinvest account.

17. How shall I transfer money for my mutual fund investments?
You can transfer money through your registered bank account by using Netbanking facility.
18. What are the charges / fee structure for Mutual Fund investments via Expressinvest account?
Currently, Mutual Fund investments through Expressinvest acccount are free of charges.
19. Will I get my Mutual Fund transaction/holding statements?
Yes, you will be able to view Mutual Fund transaction/holding statements, for all Mutual Fund transactions placed through us.
20. What is the NAV cut-off time for purchase in liquid funds?
Investors should note that in the case of liquid funds, NAV is also declared on holidays and non-business days.

The applicable NAV for liquid fund purchases is as below:

Case 1:- In purchase of liquid funds, if an application amount is less than Rs. 2 lakhs and application is received before the cut-off time of 11.30 a.m. on a business day, then previous day's NAV will be applied.
Eg:- Client has placed order before 11:30 am for Rs 1.5 lakhs on Friday (working day), then applicable NAV will be of Thursday.

Case 2:- In purchase of liquid funds, if an application amount is greater than or equal to Rs. 2 lakhs and an application is received before the cut-off time of 11.30 a.m. on a business day, then same day NAV will be applied
Eg:- Client has placed order post 11:30 am for Rs 2 lakhs on Friday (working day), then applicable NAV will be of Sunday i.e. Holiday NAV.
21. What is the NAV cut-off time for a purchase in Equity/Debt funds?
Case 1:- In purchase of Equity or Debt funds, if an application amount is less than Rs. 2 lakhs and application is received before the cut-off time of 1.30 p.m. on a business day, then same day's NAV will be applied.

Case 2:- In purchase of Equity or Debt funds, if an application amount is greater than or equal to Rs. 2 lakhs and application is received before the cut-off time of 1.30 p.m. on a business day then Next business day NAV will be applicable.

Bank mapping/ registration for Payments

22. How I can register my bank account for payments?
If you have Axis Bank account and you are the primary account holder in this bank account then by using Net banking facility you can link your Axis Bank account online with Expressinvest account. This facility is available only for your primary bank account maintained with Axis bank.
23. Can I link any other bank apart from Axis bank for payments/investments with my Expressinvest account?
No. Currently you can link only your Axis bank account with Expressinvest account.

Bank Mandate

24. On redemption in which bank account the redemption proceeds will be credited?
Your default Axis Bank account will be reported as bank mandate for all the folios created through Expressinvest and all the redemption proceeds will be credited to your linked default Axis Bank account only.
25. How can I change my bank mandate in my folio?
For change of bank mandate for any of your folios, you can submit the request directly with the respective AMC.
26. I also want to invest in Direct Equities. How can I upgrade my account for equity investments?
If you wish invest into direct equities, please contact us at your nearby Axis Direct branch. 27. Can I invest through Expressinvest after I open 3-in-1 account with Axis Direct?
No. Once you open 3-in-1 account with Axis Direct all your future investments will happen through your Axis Direct 3-in-1 account only and you will not be able operate your standalone Expressinvest account. All you past investments through Expressinvest will automatically reflect in your 3-in-1 account.
